First off, a flood. Literally, a flood.
We agreed on a house rental today that will start tomorrow, and tonight was to be our last night in our short-term rental.
When we got back to the condo, we were greeted by water gushing into the unit from the one above. Turns out the water hose had come off the washer upstairs and it dumped water down to us below.
So instead of just chillin’ and enjoying the decision we’d just made, we got relocated to a new rental house. It’s sweeter, but we didn’t really care and would have just as well stayed put.
As far as the house, it’s sweet! Details to come in the next post, but at least we shall be homeless no more!
