One of the must-see attractions in Bangkok is the Grand Palace. So one ridiculously hot day we dragged the kids across town to see the Palace grounds. It was absolutely stunning and even the kids were blown away.
The Grand Palace consists of a whole bunch of buildings in a massive complex. You could easily spend a full day exploring and taking it in. We blew through in about 90 minutes due to heat misery.
We showed up around 11, which was a terrible idea, as it was most crowded and did we mention HOT?! (Note: It’s almost always hot in Bangkok. However, sunny day + full length clothes = misery for all!)
Still, it’s an amazing attraction – really a must-see if you visit Bangkok!
